You all know how much I love brides with horses (it’s in my author’s bio, after all!), and I think it’s no secret we’re always dreaming of Italy here at Bridal Musings. Today, we share with all things good: a dreamy Tuscan bride, a handsome horse, and vintage Vespas – yay!

Sent to us from the dreamy lens of Tiziana Gallo, this rustic & romantic Italian wedding inspiration has us daydreaming of a Volterra elopement. Working with their natural surroundings, planner Roberta Cavaliere and her team of local Italian vendors incorporated wildflowers, olive branches & appropriate decor reflecting the dreamy scene around them.

The vintage Vespa, rustic venue, and rolling hills unchanged for centuries call for vintage vibes, and the bride’s gown & look deliver! With delicate lace and cap sleeves, the custom-made dress looks romantic, while her braided crown & fresh floral headpiece give us 1970s bride vibes.

From Tiziana Gallo

This inspiration shoot was created at Il Palagetto, a wedding venue based in Tuscany. It is the perfect place to spend time in nature and enjoy the fantastic view for those dreaming of marrying outdoors. Il Palagetto is surrounded by green hills and is based inside the Natural Reserve of Volterra, where you can find silence and peacefulness.

Our wedding planner, Roberta Cavaliere, has created the perfect wedding style for this venue. Many details reflect the surrounding natural environment, like wild meadow flowers in the floral decorations (Japanese poppies, for example) and olive branches. The color palette chosen is consistent with the ones in the environment – green and terracotta. Some elements have been suitably selected to enhance the Italian style, like the vanilla-colored vintage Vespa, with low lights, dated 1956.

The wedding dress is handmade and fits perfectly the natural environment, enhancing the bride’s features. It delivers both freshness and romanticism. The textiles for the wedding dress and the setting table have been selected from high-quality products and masterfully made in Italy.

The groom’s attire is olive green colored, an ode to the surrounding environment and fitting with the wedding dress. Ties have not been included in the styling to create a casual and informal look.

Contrariwise, the shoes and accessories (wedding rings, engagement rings, and earrings) are precious and romantic – all handmade in Italy.

The wedding cake is semi-naked, dripped, homey, and rustic, perfect for the wedding theme.

Finally, the wedding stationery has been realized, fitting the color palette and adding the stylized image of Il Palagetto to pass on the idea of a whole personalized wedding.
