Are you thinking of eloping with your partner? Today, we have even more reasons to convince you!
There’s no shortage of BridalMusings of inspiration for elopements, and this tropical Bali “I do” is a stunning addition to our collection of beautiful, intimate weddings.
Carlisa & Andre, planning from Brazil with Wedbali’s help, chose the most stunning Balinese waterfall to make their vows. Wedbali created the most beautiful floral ceremony arch, which complemented the surrounding natural beauty with white roses and tropical foliage.
Our couple’s romantic story will make you want to read more: to fall in love with one another and to take care of others is a love worth celebrating.
Our Love Story
We met while volunteering in a project aimed at helping people experiencing homelessness. Carlisa was responsible for organizing and collecting donations for constructing an itinerant toilet. Andre contacted me to ask me if he could donate a water container. When we first met, I told him about the project. He fell in love with it and the voluntary work. Our passion began then.
We were united by our desire to assist others. Don’t you agree it’s the best way to start a new family? We married three years after we met, and volunteer work became a part of our lives.
Our life philosophy is simple and minimalistic, and so is the wedding. To translate this idea, we chose natural colors: white, green, nude, and blue. Our style is classic, so we decided on white roses as the base for the bouquet and arch.
We also conveyed the minimalist lifestyle through our clothes. We chose a classic and simple yellow gold ring for the jewels. I wore pearls as a symbol of transforming difficulty into beauty.
Unique Details & Favorite Moments
Everything was unique because of the place. It was a celebration, connection, and joy with our friends and nature. We felt the power of the waterfall, and it connected us to the divine.
Carlisa: For me, it’s hard to choose just one moment. Everything was so perfect and quick that I found it challenging to pick one.
Our photos were artistic and spontaneous, yet natural. It’s hard to take pictures like those. Instagram introduced us to Vladimir and Borodenok, and we fell in love with their work.
Wedbali was an excellent service. They took care of everything. We got married far away from home (we live in Brazil), and all the arrangements were made at short notice and from a distance based on a good relationship with a company. We just enjoyed the moment. Everything was perfect.
The photography was also excellent. They captured all of our best moments.
The Hotel Como Uma Canggu provided the perfect ambiance for us to enjoy our romantic moments.
