Fraser’s Restaurant is hosting a Twilight Open Evening this Friday between 4pm and 8pm. It’s a fantastic chance for you to plan your wedding or special event and have a good look around this beautiful venue. It is also an opportunity to meet a host of wonderful suppliers and sample a delicious selection of food and wines! Even if you’ve chosen your venue but still seeking inspiration you should come along – from stationers, to wedding planners, to photographers to event stylists (ahem yes that would be us!) there are plenty of suppliers to meet and seek advice from. We love putting together dessert tables they are so much fun! It’s therefore no surprise that we are massive admirers of Amy Atlas who is the guru of all things sweet. She posted yesterday a super cute dessert table designed by Lillian of Lily Chic Events with sweets made by Yolanda and Kate from Kiss Me Kate. Amy was paying homage to Australia Day and thus it was great to see that both these wonderful businesses were based in Melbourne. Whilst this table was designed with Lillian’s daughter’s b’day in mind it certainly would work for a number of special occasions …. maybe a wedding you say?! For those of you with a sweet tooth, you can see more photos of this gorgeous table via Amy’s blog.

The latest issue of Cosmo Bride features the super cute wedding of Fiorella and Rami. Married on a warm summer’s day in late 2010, Fiorella and Rami held their ceremony at the piteresque St. Columba’s Catholic Church in South Perth and their reception at Acqua Viva on the Swan. Bride + Groom were delighted to supply a number of hire pieces for the wedding including tiffany chairs, birdcages, an ornate easel as well as le petite atelier bird placecards. Bride to Be’s Annual ‘Your Day’ Magazine is now on sale, showcasing a ‘best of weddings’. We were delighted to see that Kristine & Guy’s gorgeous wedding made it into the magazine. Married in late April at Christ Church Claremont, Kristine & Guy held their stunning reception at a private residence in Mosman Park. Bride + Groom were delighted to be involved in their day, we’ll endeavour to put up a full post from this wedding very soon, however in the meantime you can see some beautiful photos in the magazine. The gorgeous cover shot of Emily & Adrian’s wedding along with Kristine & Guy’s wedding were taken by Jemma Keech.

We have been extremely tardy of late in updating our blog. All we can say is that the end of 2011 has been super busy! Our New Year Resolution for 2012 is to update it more regularly!
